Next year I am going to conduct a randomised control trial! I need volunteers...

Research theory.. 'Cologne cough' only ever takes hold once back in the UK. Thus I propose that it is directly linked to the journey home and should therefore be renamed 'ferry flu'.

Research Methods...  err we don't come home and see if we stay well!

Complicated stats/maths bit...   K=2€ (@DB=0€)  7x24xK= :-)
                                                  zzz<4/24   7zzz=:-(
                                                  √ :-( = > 40K

What about incubation time Dr Zed??

Maybe you pick it right up after arriving in Cologne, and therefore "Cologne Cough" could be a good description of the disease Which could also be adressed as "Altweiber Schnupfen". Or "Rosenmontag disease" if you wish.

Maybe you could explain the formula you used, because not everything makes sense to me.......but that's maybe because i am a pongo...

Actually, if you change the formula thus....it may help

Drinking + Tiredness + Alcohol + Alcohol +Confined Coach drinking Alcohol = Cough

Axl's theorum on Cologne Cough states;

P(cc)=Sigma(d0~d7)[(KxN/(G+1))+(PsxPe)+W-S-Al]/8/100
where;
P(cc)=probability of Cologne Cough
K=number of Kolchs imbibed (must be alcohol induced)
N=number of different drinking vessels used (more glasses=more powdered glass)
G=number of gigs that day (more gigs=less drinking)
Ps=proximity to smokers (duh!)
Pe=proximity to everyone (catching it from someone)
W=weather factor (cold/wet is a greater chance)
S=quantity of single malts taken (alcohol>"beer strength" is a good antiseptic)
Al=visits to BDA's pharmacy (the drugs help)

Discuss.

In my humble medical opinion, this just goes to prove that not only do you get "Cologne B*ll*cks" before and during the aforementioned period, you also get it afterwards!!!!

Alaaf!!
