I'd just like to say thanks to Wee Mac, Neil Anstey, Andy South and Harry Lane for their brilliant performances this year in Cologne at the Carnival.
In particular I'd like to says thanks to you all for picking up Centennial at such short notice, with only a few hours practice and performing it so well on all the gigs.
As well as that the drumming during the carnivlas was good especially where we have struggled before on the Tuesday march. Thanks for picking up the new marches so quickly too.

As an aside if anyone has any video / pictures of the statics I'd appreciate a copy.

And a big thanks to you too Dolly for inviting me along for the ride...

It was emotional, and fun. I couldn't have asked for better company...

And don't forget our other part of the team, Anne, Al,  and of course Flinty!

(can anyone hear pipes???)

Would just like to say how impressed I was with the corps of drums' performance, especially learning that new routine in such a short time. :worship:  :worship:  :worship:  :worship:  :worship:

I'll second BobW's comments... you guys rocked!

I missed your nightly YMCA dancing however but your stick drill and cow belling more than made up for it!

Very very impressive guys.  Not sure everybody realised how much practise you all put in during the week.  Only drummers could put in that much work on top of that much drinking, partying, gigging, marching and lack of sleep.  Top level commitment that paid off in a fantastic display.  And I'm only biased towards one of you, so meant genuinely.

Only 342 days to go.... just think how good it could be if you all started rehearsing now...

OK bad idea, your livers wouldn't survive past Easter!!

May sound as a stupid idea, but if you start practising the drinking part of it ??

Once you meet the proper drinking standards, the music will follow easily enough

Me thinks, sounds like a plan!

Trust me - these guys excelled and exceeded the proper drinking standards a long long time ago.  They are true masters of the art.
