Well done to you all for another superb gig on St Georges Day in Kent for the Lord Taverners Charity dinner. Especially;

Jason Penney for playing the Bass Drum like a boy racer. I'm still aching now trying to keep up with you mate.

Melvin Knapp for marching onto the floor out of step (again). That's two years on the trot, Melv.

Our wonderful Bandmaster (and driver) Dougie Scott for locking Sam in our changing room at the hotel while we were at the bar sinking a few wets after we'd finished playing.

Our former Bandmaster, Neil Sylvester for sending me a lovely text 24 hours early wishing us happy St Georges Day and hoping that we'd had a good gig.

And finally. I will be 45 next Tuesday and you buggers somehow make me feel 85.

Many thanks chaps and see you all at the Skittles night next Friday where you can all buy me a birthday drink. Rich.

PS. Can anyone get hold of Craig and Sarah Henderson as it would be nice to see them aswell.
