Having been invited to join this forum, the least I can do is try and balance the books by owning up to being a former Broad Stripe trouser wearer! I don't see anyone from my era in the Intro Forum, so perhaps some may join later?

Bill, I've just had an enjoyable hour looking round the Gambia site. There are some photos there the RM museum would be very interested in.

I sent my dad a copy of the Cock of the Fleet as he was on the gun crew that won the Cock of the Med. No doubt it will be set as his desktop by now!

If anyone is getting rid of any old photos, please, please, please don't throw them away. Pass them onto the RM Museum and they will look after them for people to see well into the future. They are in th emiddle of digitising all of their images so if anything were to happen, they have them all backed up.
