Guys, recently recieved an email about this government petition. Would appreciate as many of us as possible to sign it and tell your friends, family and colleagues!

The Royal Hospital Haslar is shutting down in the next 18 months or so with all services being transferred to Portsmouth's new hospital at the QA site. In brief, it has been suggested that Haslar remain functional in part as a military rehab hospital, with specialist care for those wounded and injured in action. I think it's a great idea, hope you agree.

Regards, Zed

Deadline for signatures 19th August, stands at 36,000 today!

Yeah, I got the reply too, and as a Medic myself I am shocked at the response.  Clearly, i wont put my initial thoughts onto this forum as it is a public one and Admin would tell me off, plus of course, I'd like to have a job and cant moan about the boss too much lol

Those would be the same civvy hospitals that have refused treatment to those in uniform in the not-to-distant past then?

I'm not gonna start ranting either as I know everyone feels the same. Has left me though.

Surely that's not too much of a problem in your padded cell though?
