Rumours are rife that our bandy, Band Colour Sergeant, Craig Henderson is off to Pompey RM band in September. Craig is an absolute good egg and appears to be a little bit saddened as we all are and after all, it doesn't seem as if he's been HMS NELSON RNVB Bandmaster for five minutes. In this modern day where diversity and racial equality seem to take priority over all, I firmly believe he is being picked on cos' he's Scottish. And all he's ever said is "Och, I'wish I Was English".
Please, please, please Drafty. Let Craig stay for a little while longer. I could not possibly attend another Scooter Rally without him.

Rich Pitman, Corps Of Drums.

P.S. Could everybody please support this worthy cause in dark days.[/i]

Well he's not really Scots then is he, or perhaps you caught him in a Glenfiddich moment. You'll say he was buying a round next. :smt046

I reckon he just couldn't handle the pace. Or they're moving him on as he's started to get tone deaf from the crapness of my flute playing!

Hello by the way (guess I'd better add that too)

People,
the drafting officer has plans, plans so big and vast that us mere mortals will never be able to understand them. Plans that involve changes so big our tiny minds cannot comprehend the far reaching effects of each drop of his precious ink that he plots our lives out with. If he has to leave your VBI where he is, there will be another person so dissapointed that he'll never meet you or get the deserved promotion that being your VBI brings. He could be even more brilliant than the one you call Craig and already have a following of a few who know his brilliance and you already want to have him sent away without giving him the chance to take you onto bigger and better performances. Don't forget... as one door opens, another door knocker becomes tarnished with the fingerprints of an unbeliever

Smiteth the unbelievers! Feel the wrath of the omnipotent powers that be and make the Scotsman go work for a living. In fact, teach him how to conduct 5/4 properly and we will all be saved from the almighty Holy Haggis of Doooooooooom :monkey:

Ok so I'm bored at work

I thought it was down, left, left, way right then back upside. Then again that is 5/4 as 3 + 2. Now...if it is 2 + 3....see what you have started!!!!

Perhaps you should all try the Buglers Grot with some of the compsitions being written they seem to play anything and everything. However being a drummer myself, 5 pints and 4 shorts please.

LEAVE OUR BANDY WHERE HE IS.
