Thanks to the two lovely gents last night, I have a certain song playing on loop in my head.
Much as you were very good, having 500 Miles in my head constantly is proving a barrier to me leading a happy and productive life.
When are we doing karioke again then?
And no, I'm not going to sing. You really wouldn't want to hear it
Also, my little brother is still kind of freaked out by the fact that Nish, A & the Scot are all younger than him He was not in a pretty state this morning either but that serves him right for spending hours in the pub

He did look a little freaked out last night, but I assumed that was the result of copious amounts of alcohol he'd consumed or alternatively being in volly company for more than 5 minutes.
I walked to work this morning and as a result also have the proclaimers song spinning round my head *grrr*
Return trip next thursday anyone???? |

When I wake up well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you
When I go out yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
If I get drunk well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And if I haver yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
When I'm working yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money comes in for the work I'll do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home oh I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you
And if I grow old well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
na na na na, na na
na na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la na na na, na na na na na na, na na na
lika lika lika
lika lika la
When I'm lonely well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man whose lonely without you
And when I'm dreaming well I know I'm gonna dream
I'm gonna dream about the time when I'm with you
When I go out well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
And when I come home yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home with you
I'm gonna be the man whose coming home with you.
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
na na na, na na na na na na,
na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la na na na,
na na na na na na,
na na na lika lika lika lika lika la
na na na, na na na na na na,
na na na
lika lika lika lika
lika la
na na na,
na na na na na na,
na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your do-o-or

| Though if you're doing a pop quiz and this song crops up, you'll get the points for giving it the correct title - "I'm gonna be". |

I'm Gonna Be 500 Miles by The Proclaimers, to be precise... _________________ One is hardly sensible of fatigue while he marches to music.

To be even more precise, it's "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" |
