hi all,

whilst partaking in an odd cup of tea or two at the Heron summer social at the weekend, Princess Fiona and Emface came up with the idea of having a Pre-Christmas get together for the Colognites??? Big Ted and I thought it sounded pretty damn fine as a plan.... anyone else game?

It would probs be in Zummerzet as we are inbetween Portsmouth and Cornwall (GCSE geography served me well!). We will try and get everyone accom at Heron to keep costs down and organise a nice meal out somewhere for everyone on a Saturday night, either last one in November or first one in December..

can you let us know if
a) you think it's a good idea and want to come..
b) preferred date, check gigs etc with your bandy / pipe majorman please
c) err... can't think of a c!

When you say Colognites do you mean:

a: People of Germanic extraction living in the locale of Köln, Deutschland?
b: Members of the RNVB who regularly travel to the aforementioned city situated on the banks of the river Rhine?
c: Both of the above?

In case anyone is interested and is off to the Cologne Christmas markets, might be good to book this weekend:

Bob could be both! And was thinking that this shouldn't be just for Colognites but anyone that wants to come.  Just think of it as Band camp but in the winter and in England wearing party hats!!!!

Oh and after speaking with the lovely Mrs Bb the last Sat in Nov would be good as it should not coincide with any other party.  Plus I have a lot of stamps to lick in December as does Mr BB!!!!
