To prevent 'bots' and 'spammers' from registering I have added a 'visual confirmation' to the registration process. This will not affect current members but it will mean that any future joiners will have to enter a visual code produced by the server and input it to complete the registration process. This stops 'bots' and spammers from joining and auto posting because they can't read the image that is thrown up. If anyone joining has any problems please email me at the work address and I'll sort out any issues that you may have with this addition. WE, with the other measure just introduced, be virtually spam free
I find that 1/2 a tablet at night stops me rolling out of bed !! _________________ Music has the power to bring people together like no other art form.

It is a fine balance between getting people interested and wanting to join to take part and forcing people to join. The views of the topics show there are a lot of lurkers but they will join in once they see a topic they are interested in and have something to say on the matter. I'd rather keep the forum open to allow all to see and particpate in if they choose to. I know of a few people who are readers who have not registered
