band festival last weekend

following my post about playing in Norfolk

As none of you lot ever come within 100 miles of Norfolk I bought the kids to you!

we came to the festival at the weekend and I have to say you were all fantastic

It was really impressive to see all the bands perform and the standard was superb We bought most of our band down about 25 kids in total and they have all come home full of enthusiasm in fact Monday night I lost half my band equipment with them taking stuff home to practise which is a rarity its hard enough to keep their attention during practise.

If we can get to be even half as good as you guys I will be a VERY happy person.

if any of you have any video footage of your performances I would love to get a copy I will of course pay any costs
please let me know

Keep up the good work

Wow!  That is one of the best compliments we could be paid.  Thank you!  I can't believe that you brought the kids all that way to see us and if we have inspired just one then we will have done more than we ever thought we would.  I just wish I'd have realised you were coming- it would have been fantastic to meet you all.

You never know - find us a gig / workshop to do in Norfolk and you never know what might happen!  You can but ask.

Band camp in Norfolk anyone?!

Anne (flute / piccolo player from Devonprt band in Plymouth).

What Anne said! Glad you and the kids enjoyed the day, we all certainly did.
Long may the enthusiasm continue.

Bandcamp on the Norfolk Broads? It would have to be on boats wouldn't it?
Any one know anything about driving a boat? Don't put Axl in charge unless it's nuclear powered and goes down to 20 fathoms.
Anne Picc

Think Dolly and I could handle a barge or two.  Ask Zed - she's been crew for us already

It's been years since Axl went down to 20 fathoms.  It'll be a few more yet until he see's 20 fathoms again!
