After a while of being unemployed (I guess I'm not 'diverse' enough....) Apricot, who is a complete star, pointed out the job as she works at the uni too. I wasn't overly optimistic after the interview, but I just got a call saying I've been offered the job! 
I'll be doing all the things I do in the bandblock, but I'll be getting PAID, (in more than baguettes and overdue handbags, anyway!) So a huge thankyou to Apricot for telling me about it, and to Craig, who gave me a 'glowing reference that made it impossible not to hire me!' And girls, (and guys) next week, we will be hitting the town to celebrate! (Craig has already said he'll come, but only if I bring my new handbag so he can swing it aroon his heid!)

Well, the first day went incredibly smoothly.
Everyone seems lovely, especially my boss! I get my own PC (although nothing as pimped out as Deli's) and my own phone number which makes me feel important!!!!! I'm really optimistic about this job! He's even really flexible with what times I work if I have gigs on! |
