Festival P-upJust spoke to Ship and Castle manager and he's told me that all band personnel (RN and civies) need to show Id's for food and booze and you will get 20% discount. Any problems just quote 'Lawrernce'.Pub is at the bottom of Queen St.
PS. If it goes thingy's up please don't have a dig at me because at least I've tried for you all. Good luck Saturday and look forward to meeting you all Pi$$ed. Big Rich.

Ship and Castle give discount on drinks to service personel and discount on food to civil servants, dockyard workers and ex serving working for the MOD etc . This happens all the time, all year round so there shouldn't be a problem. If you are of the non military type, give your dosh to a service person and they can get the discount and ikt makes all service people look very generous as they are always the ones buying the wets!!

I take it you mean the ship and castle on the Hard????
I also saw that Rich had put this in the section for Drake band .... was this pointed in my direction by any chance. I know he said he would buy me a beer one day (only been waiting about 6 years for it!!) but I thought he would of at least piad full price for it!

:-) Rich, when it comes to you, you know I'll alwys believe everything you say.....well at least until the next time I blink :-)
Although we do have a bigger COD this year unfortunately we have no tenor's for us to lend you.
