Gromit's new kennel

Just to let my Vollie chums know that I am finally moving out of the mess.

I have bought a flat in Yeovil but it doesn't have a land line so I wont be on the net for a while.

Hope you get net access sorted soon - no home is complete without it

Will come visit you in that oh-so glorious AMP sometime for some !!

Hi Gromit,

Thanks again for coming to help out on 16th. Sorry I couldn't recipricate and help last W/E (22 Oct?) but I was with friends (I have got some ... honest) in Deal. Hope it went well.

It must feel good to have your own place once more, but I was just wondering: Will visitors to your new aboad be kennel club members or just pedigree chums?
Anne Picc

Great to hear you have your own place! Enjoy. You deserve it
Gromit

I'm back on line having moved in to the smallest flat in the known world - more like a hutch than a kennel. It took a day to work out the fancy washing machine, cooker and heating then the land line all the broad band stuff went in so now it's Gromit's Techno-Hutch.

I just about had room for the fridge magnet - I had to get rid of the fleas to make room. Yes - Gromit had fleas. They were in the carpet from the last dog. It has taken 3 weeks to murder them all (fleas not dogs).

congrats on your new abode Gromit

Gromit....

Good to hear you're no longer being put up by the MOD.

Were you carried out of the Mess are were you left to your own devices?

Have you settled in now?
ZedHorn

Grom's kennel rocks.... but she is a broken woman!!!!

It was Heron Band's xmas social on Saturday so Zed and Marie stayed in Grom's party kennel.  However I got a tad squiffy and was v v poorly until 5pm on Sunday     and my hangover didn't kick in til 8 this morning.  However, I did get some good photos which I will post when I'm feeling better.

By the way - I could really do with a hug right now  as I am starting to feel sorry for myself !

I am an engineer, I have the technology - I can rebuild her.
Just one question - is Gromit metric or imperial? I wouldn't want to turn up with the wrong socket set!

poorly - awwww... all your own fault missy... oh actually no, I remember... it wasn't the booze that did it, it was the milk in the coffee!!!

you rock!

Z
Gromit

It WAS the milk - it curdled on top of a gallon of rum and half a gallon of red wine - funny old thing!

I'm feeling much better now - ready to do it again on Thursday at the carol singing in the Lamb & Lark!
ZedHorn

shame I have to work on Friday or i'd join you in ludicrous lashings of lamb and lark lager! lush....
greenfairy

I wish I could drink

Bloody pain in the ar$e not being able to at Crimbletime. Oh well, as long as I'm allowed to by Cologne time I'll be ok!

Is this lager brewed from real lambs & larks? What if you are a vegetarian alcoholic? I've heard of beer described as cat's pi$$ - perhaps they only use extract of lamb & lark?????
The Donkey

Funny thing is, Zed is a veggie!!!

You'd think she'd know better.
ZedHorn

beer is technically a vegetarian meal you know!!!

ZedHorn

Gromit

I relinquish the Kennel in 4 weeks - booooo - so if any one has a spare red spotty hanky and a stick I would be most grateful.

Yours homelessly

Apricot
