I got to play with the portmouth band back in march it was amazing experience as well as seeing the school.

Hello Laura.....welcome to the site. I sure lots of people on this site will tell you that it's the best thing they ever did. Just go for it!!!! You will not regret the experience.

..Hi Laura.. good on you young 'un for having a bash at the finest (allegedly) Military Band Training you're likely to find anywhere. We all had a ball in our time, so no reason why you shouldn't do likewise. Keep looking and posting on this site to improve your sense of humour skills (you'll need them if you join up)....

ps....I see it was a very subdued Aardvark who posted at !am this morning. He was probably lashed up with cheap plonk and unable to give you his normal type of reply.... Stand by...It won't last...

I am lulling her into a false sense of security by pretending to be civilized. blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....buuuuuuuurrrpp....phrrrrrtttt.........hey ho...pop, pop, wibble.....zoooooommmybang. hic

Laura, you must join up immediately.....if you remain a civvie you run the real risk of becoming very very boring. Quick...sign the line.....there is still time to save your soul.

Hi Laura - Go do it - don't think about it - I've come across loads of ex military from something or other, but none of them have had the sense of humour or go get attitude as ex RM's of all types - joining will be an education that can't be learnt elsewhere - good luck
