HMS Heron Divisions

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU on behalf of Heron Band to all the folk who went out of there way to do the Falklands 25 Divisions. The mass band sounded great and looked good and the grown-ups were impressed.

Thanks you lot See you at Band Fest. x

Cheers Gromit!

Apart from not knowing how to do an about turn (as I've never done about turns at all - I'm still relatively new to all the Military band goings-on) I thought it all went alright and were a right good laff to boot!

Nice to do joint gigs with other bands.

An about turn is a 180 degree turn in a clockwise direction when the Drum Major says, "Aboooooooouuuuuuuut........TURN". Simple really.

Not when a horn player decides to go anti clockwise, then realises his mistake and does a full spin clockwise to make up for it. Ah, volunteer bands......
ANTS

more than welcome.....it was fun and good to see everyone again.

ps - the US photos are good (very professional)

Put it this way: on curly -wurly horn were Tony & Neil (get it wrong - naaaa). So must have been a brass band horn, but I'm far too polite to name the chap after he went out of his way to help.
ZedHorn
