Introduction

Hi Everyone :D

My name is Ian Sandell(styx) I joined as Bugler in 1962 Left in 1976.

Served at RM Depot Deal Staff Band, Eastney, HMS St. Vincent, HMS Raleigh,HMS Fearless and 42 Commando Pipe Band.

If any one remembers me get in touch.

I had a stroke in 2000 so am now not working so it gets pretty boring.

well enough of the intro lets go and have a look round. :P

Hi Ian.... I remember you as Sam Sandell........I think last time we met was in Aden you were in Pipe Band with George Hayes, Ingy Ingleston, Rex Harris, Alan Piner, George Woods memory fails me at that point I was on Eagle with Keith Bounsall. Sorry to hear you had a stroke I sincerely hope alls well with you matey.

Hey Sammy Sandell, yes I remember you matey,you and I were lumbered with
Duty Bugler for ever and a day when Jock Emmerson, Al Brooker and co, went over the wall, I was even duty that night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to hear you survived
the stroke. My old ticker went Baaaaaang some years ago, but you cant keep a bugler down ( notice I didn't say a good one, ha ! ha ! ) Take care ,Don ' Gusty'
