Cheers for helping out Sharpy,

Anyone else out there? I said HELLO!!!! Calling all of the mighty clan McNeptune, cheers for a good years work lads/lasses. And a good PU last week. See you in the new year, and stand by!

ps Sharpy, some top quality plugging for Tullis Russell Band - like it, you've got one already it, looks like Rab has fallen for it!
Sharpy

The more the merrier!! If I keep plugging away then it means I wont have to play my hooter at contests and can just get drunk instead!!

Ye gads, I thought we'd captured a Neptunite for a moment.
Melchett, arouse the men and form a press gang (you are still number 2 in the VBI chart, closely behind Collingrad!).
Pass the Glenmorangie and set sail for cold water.
Aaron Aardvark

arouse?? did I hear someone mention arouse? Dear me....in my day we did that on our own in private. We didn't need a VBI to help. Try rousing them instead Jos its much more civilised
General Melchett

Aaron, you are right again; after all it is a submarine baseand i am NOT, EVER going to try and arouse a submariner.
Aaron Aardvark

Scuse me.
Dont mind me I'm just coming in for a bit of a clean and to look for some ball tops. Its got a bit dusty in here.

Just pretend i'm not here. I can see this room hasnt seen any use for ages and its got a bit untidy. Dust Dust dum di dum. Ok all clean again.

Toodle pip.
General Melchett

Thanks for helping keep everything up to rounds standard whilst I was away. Alll spick and span for the next "Stand by your beds....!"
Aaron Aardvark

I can hear an ECHO ECHO ECHO ECHO ECHO

Very empty room.

Shame really.....its nice and bright and cheerful. I love the wallpaper

Melch.....put a sign on the door actually telling people to come in and chat......or better still.....get rehearsing.
General Melchett

Yes, Isn't Faslane a lovely, nay charming place. The Subs, the missiles, the dockies and the pikeys! Don't tell anyone, but I'm on RDP until July!
Aaron Aardvark

Have the pressure-heads got to you mate. I have a good way of dealing with them......
General Melchett

And what, Aaron, would that be?

HMS NEPTUNE...VOLUNTEER BAND

Greetings from the foggy North and blooming cold it is too! I thought I would write and let you all know that Neptune Band members do exist..cos there is me for a start and a few say 30 others of us and we are not a bad bunch really!! Not bad at playin music either. This is my oooh 16th year in the volunteer band and its not bad, so if your visitin Neptune ( although why would you want to do that and I work in the place!!) please do come and visit our band in the Off site centre which is convieniently situated for us accross the road at the Ardencaple Hotel at Rhu!!

Hope everyone on the banding front retired or not is doing well, by the way has anyone see Tim Smye Rumsby???!

Best wishes
Gillian

Last I heard of Tim, he was living in Dunfermline....... He started a painter's firm with "Lofty" Gallacher... A great team they were, as Lofty specialised in high roofs, and Tim did all the skirtings..... Sorry, I'm joking of course, and if I see Tim (or his wife) I'll tell them there's a gorgeous girlie from Faslane asking for him...

Regards to all at Neptune...
