Having stayed over at the Home Club a couple of weekends ago, I heard a number of "shanties" being sung, and I think "slung" by the sounds of things during the night. You can always trust old Jollies to re-write the lyrics of age old sea songs....

Our pleasure

It would have been my pleasure if I hadn't been working. I assure you I'd have preferred Traf night to doing box office in an unheated Cathedral with poor lighting!
Apricot

and we would have preferred to have you there too
A

you sweetie! are you trying to suck up to the conductor?
Apricot

No, but considering what a mare SeaMedley was, I'm grateful he thought we weren't too bad...
A

Ah, Seamedley is atrocious!
Apricot

especially when your only first and only second clarinets are not together!!!
A

I'm not saying a word................silence speaks volumes.
