North Barracks at Deal (Sorry....Walmer!)

Here's a few pics of part of North Barracks, I took a few days ago. The Main galley and NAAFI Block are now flattened and awaiting new houses to be built.

Photo 1, is taken looking upwards from the Memorial Garden towards where the Galley etc. was. (Canada Road can be seen to the left)

Photo 2, is looking down towards what's left of the Concert Hall, which now acts as a backdrop to the Garden. (See next photo)

As you can see, the Memorial Garden looks in great shape (Photo 3) It's a shame that the same can't be said of the other side of it. (Photo 4)
