Senile dementure sets in!
Chris will be happy, knowing there are 2 of you left

Right, I'm off to... errr... Bugger! I've gone and forgotten again...
Aaron Aardvark

One of the first signs of senile dementia is bod spalling.

Polis Dit....I was there!! It happened!!

Imagine the scene, 200+ new start bobbies in the lecture Hall..silence falls and the lecturer introduces himself.

"Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here today to tell you about DNA and how it can be used in the detection of crime. Can I start by asking if anybody knows what DNA stands for"???...while he waited for someone to answer 'Deoxyribonucleic Acid', there was silence which was eventually broken by a broad Glaswegian voice stating " NATIONAL DISLEXIC ASSOCIATION"

Yes mate..I thought I'd better keep a low profile for a day or so, after "knuckle-wrapping" from they who must be obeyed..
Shame you're not coming down next week, your baton may have been a handy addition to my armoury .Still, I won't tempt providence, and say that someone else ain't been seen for a day or two...
Hornblower

Does that suggest that you're coming down for Dick Waterers funeral Rab? or does it refer to something else?
RAB

Unfortunately, although I served with Richard in Staff Band, and had the greatest respect for him as a musician and a gentleman, I'm in Hospital next Thursday for a minor Op..

No, that post referred to a now cancelled "soiree" over a 1/2 pint or thirty with a fellow Bass Player....
BoneManJohn

Grandad, Yoda, or various other less complimentary nicknames (john hill)...
still trapped in the goldfish bowl in the middle of Eastney Block, blowing the dust off old reeds from time to time :o)

What a troop we had! Parrot Troopers one and all - still remember Giraffe on squad runs with his inflatable bird on his shoulder...
Gaz
