A well deserved BZI'd just like to thank the bar staff from Nelson's Senor Rates Mess for coping with the influx of volunteer band members on Friday night.
They were gicen no warning but managed to cope well.
If anyone is involved in the planning next year can you let the Bar Manager know that he can expect a full bar on Friday night :-)

that'll be the president of the mess Dolly - who officially invited ALL the bands to the mess for Friday night!!! so someone knew...
but yes -well done to the barmen... and a request for next year.. please don't allow the pipers to actually pipe inside the mess at something o'clock past midnight... it's bl**dy silly!!!

It must've been good cos I can't remember much about Friday night.....certainly didn't want to get up the next morning, that'ss for sure!

The hospitality shown by the mess pres and his team was absolutely fantastic. VMT Chaps. Just to put the story straight, After the Thursday night party in the mess, the bar manager was well warned about Friday night and therefore had bar staff available at short notice which he provided. Especially well done to, John from Govan, Irish Chris and Dancer Dave. I for one salute you.
