Hello

Hello all you Heronites.

Just popping in to say "Hello" to you all on your website.

Miss all your funny (an not so funny) posts, so I thought I'd pop in and have a good chin wag.

I have posted a Caption in the 'Caption' area.

I endeavour to do this on Mondays as I do at present on the 'other' site.

Bye for now.
.
Hornblower

Honourary - by invite only and then only if you have a fully working avatar to your name. Which you don't on this side of the iron curtain!!!! (After giving Dr Z a hard time about hers too...)

If you can't be nice, bugger off to the pompey threads!

I'd certainly 'pay' you to chastise me!

Especially if you're in your white coat and whith your stethoscope around your neck and start by saying "Cough".

Yes...Yes....Yes. YES...YESSS!!!!

Sorry....Sorry.......Got a bit carried away there!!!!
.
ZedHorn

sorry but I graffiti'd my white coat for the protest March in London 5 months ago... I wrote 'do you want fries with that' on the back of it... not hugely professional to wear at work anymore...

Sweeties? G's birthday was Yesterday!
ZedHorn

actually it was Monday... and you both missed the cake!!! all the more for Gromit, moi and the very happy band officer... he likes cake!! trombonerist.. what do you expect!!!
The BB's

Zed this is your final warning: stop running down Pompey threads (you secretly want to be back here) and stop running down trombones (the pillows under the key)
2nd Clarinet

The BB's

I'd like to come over to the Pompey threads..........

These Heronites seem to be nasty people, I hope you are all nicer in the Pompy Volunteer Band.

.
ZedHorn

I'm not running down anything, hiking / trekking in training yes but not running!! see DOing SOmething Crazy thread!

as for being Nasty, 2C you really have got the wrong end of the stick! A trombonerister that doesn't like cake is like finding a piccolo in tune at the end of the trio in eagle squadron!!
ZedHorn

or finding a sober horn player on parade in Koln.....

See, BB

she's having a go at me.....

Save me BB.......Save me!!!!

.
The BB's

Sorry 2C had reh last night but don't worry I'm back now and not all trombonerists like cake (most prefer beer!) so leave him alone zed he's 'harmless' or so I've heard!!!!
2nd Clarinet

You've heard correctly.....of course.

I'm an Angel....

.
The BB's

That was until I saw the thread you started in the member's lounge. In case you haven't realised I AM WOMAN (hear me ROAR)

sorry couldn't find an emoticon that had anything to do with roaring!!!
2nd Clarinet

Hey BB........?

I don't know what you're on about......

I just thought I'd post some information which would help men understand the mindset of women.

It's a tricky world out there!!!!!!!!!

And, we need all the help we can get in order to lead a peaceful and harminous life.

Horns on parade No1 "HIC" and correct.
Just let me know when & when.
The BB's

Oh 2C men will never understand women, and that's the way we're gonna keep it, need to keep you lot guessing. Unlike male selective hearing that all women know about i.e. 'can you help me with this dear' 'I SAID CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS DEAR' fancy a beer 'ooh yes please

in case anyone hadn't realised The BB's is the only legally allowed hermaphroditic forum member, it is both woman and man, yin and yang, chalk and cheese, beer and more beer, trumpet and trombone!!!

see the Cologne photo gallery if you want proof 2C!

I resemble that remark! Forgive me for quoting (as well as I can from memory) from our Festival Marching display write up, which says in black and white .... ' even the piccolo was in tune'. Most impressive thing about the comment is that there were 2 piccs playing not one, so Heather and I MUST have been in tune! And given the fact I'm often the only picc at Koln and am known for not being quiet, I'd argue that you are usually either too deafened or too much influenced by the trusty camel pak to know if I'm in tune or not. In Eagle Squadron you are usually way too busy keeping up with the horn version of the trio (and doing it spectacularly well I must add!)
ZedHorn

are the lovely trio..... we played it last week at rehearsal and i played MY part - the proper my part and I had totally forgotten it - much prefer my speshal part for speshal 1st german Piccolorn... in F hic...

knew that comment would wind you up tho.... reel in the big fish!!!

See Anne Picc,

The Zed is a monster.......she will have a go at anyone, even innocent piccolo players.
(Hold on.....there was one piccolo player in my life who was never innocent, but he was an exception to the rule).

.

EMMA

I know Anne even I had a giggle to myself about that remark about the piccolo's being in tune - a classic!!!
ZedHorn

come to think of it I dont know many innocent piccolo players....
The Donkey

How do you get two piccolos in tune? ..............................

I know you're just waiting so I will put you out of your misery:-
jump on one of them!!!!
ZedHorn

I was going to suggest that Axl and Anne always play in tune whenever I've heard them!!! but then I realised I'm about 3 rows forward and am deafened either by the hoover that is playing behind me or the drone of 'the pipers' so what would I know!!!

Zed,

I believe you're right. I can't remember any either.
