Perhaps they're in a bad reception area...???..

Well I spent many a good time in your galley..Ooops sorry Restaurant gentlemen.....

AND I was privileged to go where only the finest "moles" shall travel...

Rab, you shout from the north and I'll shout from the south and they might hear us. There must be bad reception in Nortwood and the west country.

I would imaging that it's a bit dodgy going on a computer at Northwood!

Either that, or the guard dogs won't let them near one!

What do you mean bad reception in the West Country, Heron and Drake are partaking - just Seahawk to rope into the proceedings!!

Hornblower

Ha ha!

Just so that this thread gets a bit of use I've decided to let you know that I don't just go round on a motorbike careering into unsuspecting Botty Bundies...

Wee Jock McCartney asked me to take something from Northolt to Northwood on the only mode of transport I had - my trusty Honda CX500.

No probs - so off I went and as it was a nice day, I decided to not bother with anything other than MY (as opposed to Aa Aa's) wooly pully and lovat troos. (Oh - and crash helmet of course)

Uneventful trip across and then approached the gate on my left.

Decided to show the bootneck on the gate how to lean a bike and get me knee down.

Well, I managed it quite easily...

...first my knee, then my shoulder then my head and I'm a big snotty mess sprawled all over the main gate area.

Bah!

I retained my dignity though, I didn't cry or anything!!!
bootybandy

Oooohhh well 'aard.
Aaron Aardvark

want me wooly pully back
Hornblower

Come and get it big man!!!!
geekygirl

Are you still talking about his wooly pully?
greenfairy

I think it's best not to know!
Hornblower

What else would an Hardvark have that I would possibly want?
geekygirl

I wish you hadn't used the word "Hardvark", eeuuuugghhhh!

No offence Aa!

...You're gettin' your abilities mixed up with your ambitions Old Crock...

Anyhoo, by the time your leave pass from the Retirement Home was authorised, the notion would have worn off...

HUH!! There's still life in the old vark yet i'll have you know. Just because i live in a retirement home doesnt mean im an old crock. Im here because its free and they prefer us to stay together after our horrendous duty looking after you lot. Its stressful and PTSD is rife. Only this morning the goat tried jumping off the east wing turrett. I had to implement my polished training and talk her down. It turns out she had had a postcard from Botty claiming that he knew where she lived. Poor goat was terrified. I can come and go as i please and matron is a personal friend of mine. I have got to know her very well. Every morning as I queue up for my medication she gives me an extra special little smile.

To demonstrate true randomness Apricot, you should post in random threads with random news/features.

Where will I pop up next?

It would be nice to hear from anybody at the Northwood Correctional Facility.. It can't be difficult with all that technology up there...

I hear there is a new bandy inbound soon - perhaps he can drum up some interest and we can welcome a few new forumers??
cornetchap

Another one outed

Hi,

Another Northwooder coming out (as it were).

We did indeed get a new bandy this year; Dave Matthews replaced Steve Brinkworth in May.

If you saw us try and march and play at the weekend you'll understand why our grasp on technology may not be so great. Having said that though, I invite you to take a look at our website: http://northwood-band.org.uk/ as you'll see we're not all tech numpties (disclaimer: I'm the webmaster, so I think it's great). You'll have to excuse the out of date bandy bio; Dave still hasn't got round to supplying me with his details. Maybe I'll put an incriminating photo from the festival up to get his ar$e in gear.

Cheers, Greg.
MrJpig

Cool site Greg.Keep up the good work.

Well this could explain why my mood has been improving and why the coffee you make has such an odd taste.
