For those virgins amongst you, waiting with eager anticipation for this educational and cultural visit to Cologne, you may have noted a preponderance of verbal expressions over the last few weeks encroaching onto this forum onto this site.

Please dont be put off by this........it is normal and occurs every year around this time, as the selected victims, sorry volunteers begin to get excited and rally round working each other into frenzy in eager anticipation of the annual extravaganza we call Cologne but they call Koln.

Rest assured that this epidemic will subside shortly after the 6th February and will be replaced by Cologne throat. This again is normal and is not to be feared, it is just a symptom of hours playing in festivities that go on long into the night in pursuance of entertainment for our German friends.

For those not virgins to the trip, I am sorry for having started to talk complete and utter Cologne B*ll*cks so soon before departure. Cant wait!!!!!

And dont forget never let your b*ll*cks dangle in the dust!!!

Hibernation mode normally kicks in as soon as we get on the bus to return home and normally ends around Sunday lunchtime!

I have to hibernate in short spells as I go along otherwise I start turning in to a green monster instead of a fairy

And I can sleep anywhere - heck I even managed to sleep through take-off on the way back from the US trip
