Peace and Quiet

Well, I'm left here all on my lonesome.

And rehearsals for the remaining Nelsonites have been cancelled so i can't even take joy in torturing trainee bandmasters!!!!!
Hornblower

Home come you no go with your oppos then A?

Sorry you're home alone...

PS Just noticed - YAY, the dancin' nanas have gone!!!
A

Well, I only work part time and I couldn't afford the airfare. I'm already saving up to visit Rome during Ed's autumn leave and that's already quite hard, so an extra few hundred was impossible.

However, I shall console myself with my all expenses paid fortnight in Florida next month, where I won't even have to take my clarinet! Bonus!
Hornblower

Hope you have a great time sweetheart.

don't worry about being here A... just think, pirates 3 is out on Friday and you get to see it before GF, unless that is they see ot over there or on the plane or something... and there's always Yeovil Town to watch!!!
A

Ah, Pirates, very good point. Although knowing GF she will have snuck out in the early hours of the morning if necessary to catch a showing. Not that she won't watch it numerous times when she's back!

lesbryan

Hope yer did it nish |||
A

Hello Nish my dearest, how did you do?
Nish

Well, it was a very enjoyable week. The PTIs definately had fun with us! Still a bit achy from that. Instrument-wise did Trumpet, Bugle and Military Side Drum and then they tried me out on the old Violin as well. It seemed to go well, will hopefully find out this week.
A

They haven't told you? On my audition they told us all on our last day!
bootybandy

Ooops....
Nish

We were all told that we wouldn't be told anything until it came through in the post next week, no-one was told anything.
A

It's a good thing to have to wait, shows that they're not just accepting anyone. When I auditioned there was a recruitment slump going on apparently and they literally accepted all but 1. (And the one wasn't me!)
Apricot

We're back A so there goes your peace and quiet (hee, hee, hee)
A

Too bloody right it's gone, although I admit I'm the one making the noise!
