Seahawk Drummy calling.........

Hi all,

Well I've only been in the Volunteer Band world for 19 years now and been with Seahawk for 16 years so thought after seeing about the forum in this years Band Festival programme thought I'd join in the fun.

Firstly, I'd like to say "hello" to all who know me...............and for those who don't yet, "hello too".

Well done to all of you out there who participated and were successful in this years festival.  A special mention goes to HMS Nelson's drum corp, who triumped yet again, and also to Heron for winning the Best Marching Band and Bambara Trophy.  A special mention also goes to your drummy, Kerry, keep it up girl !!

Also I can't forget my surrogate band Drake.  Well done guys for winning the overall C in C trophy.  Remember if Andy is unavailable and you need a drummy, give me a shout.

Anyway it was good to see you all last weekend, and for those of you I didn't see there is always next year.

Take care all,

Stu

Hi Princess F,

Well thank you and tell Kerry well done from me on her 3rd place.  I knew she did well, she looked good in the bits that I saw prior to our inspection.

Tell her to get on this forum too!
