Southsea Show

Are we going to it this weekend?

Was excellent last year, loads of stuff to see and sparkly things to buy.
greenfairy

Who, what, why, when, where, how?

Also not Saturday as I'm going to Millwall. And hopefully not get my head kicked in.
A

Sunday is good for me.

Southsea Common from 10am.

greenfairy

It's a date then
A

Good good! I'll get the advance tickets on my way home work tomorrow.
greenfairy

Coolios. And I'm not entering the dog show - too ugly!
Apricot

enjoy girlies
greenfairy

I might even take a backpack with a Jack in - just incase!
A

You not coming Apricot?
sticky blue

Have fun - some of us will be working
A

On a Sunday! I sympathise, I used to hate working weekends.

We'll drink a toast to absent Stickyblues.
sticky blue

I alternate one w/e on and one off - this is the week I've got my BSA finished and on the road and all I can do is use it to work and back (the long way) boo hoo!
greenfairy

We're drinking? Most excellent
A

As if you needed to ask!

greenfairy

Boooooooo rubbish
A

bought 2 tickets.
greenfairy

A

The REME band are playing. My grandad was in the REME.
greenfairy

I think I'm going to take Jack - so bring your camera!
A

Noted.

I know but it's gotta be done and if I actually finish this work on time then I'll have loads more time to go out to play with you girls.
A

Which is worth the wait.
A

Right my dear, when and where am I meeting you tomorrow?

Ohhh err... you're a bit forward!
I'll be under the thingy at 0930, I'll be wearing a pink stetson!

Enjoy the show guys, the traffic was terrible today in Pompey around Southsea. Walk if you know what is good for you
A

Deli! You said you'd only wear your pink stetson for me in private!
Co-admin

Did I say that out loud? Ohh err!
greenfairy

Well I'm finally home from Millwall - cracking game, great atmosphere and only marginally scary!

1-1 draw for anyone who cares. But a very nice away trip apart from the watered down Fosters they were serving in the bar at the ground.

Anyway, tomorrow. If you're getting the bus down A then would it be easiest for you to turn up to mine sometime and then we'll wander over?
A

Sounds good to me. Is nine too early?
greenfairy

Christy. Does 9 exist on a Sunday?!

It's fine hun, I'll be up (but may need to stop at the shop for caffeine on the way)
A

I was thinking something along the lines of a subway breakfast bap (heaven in a bun) but I don't think there's one on the way.
greenfairy

Ye gads I cannae eat at that time of day
A

What a bostin show!

Fabulous food, dancing JCBs, showjumping, acrobatics, and comedy suntans.

Special mention the the REME band who were AMAZING. Everything about their displays was faultless.

And of course SHEP WOOLEY, complete legend, who sang Ram it mate I'm RDP on special request!
Co-admin

One of his best!!
A

Definetely! The man is a genius.

Shame he didn't do Aladdin!
greenfairy

And a stunning Quote of the Week from A who, whilst in the middle of a serious conversation we were having suddenly came out with

"Oh look, geese!"

Co-admin

Shep Wolley and Weasel Diesel... now that is a recipie for pant wetting myrth and the mother of all hangovers
A

Small chavvy child to a bemused GF: "you look like the devil."
greenfairy

or ?

I still say it's the nicest thing anyone's said to me in a long time!
A

What was the other thing I came out with?
A

I remember now.

'I'm glad I fake mine.'
greenfairy

That was indeed a classic. But I like the randomness of the geese better
A

Well, geese are cool (from a distance!) Their bums wiggle!
greenfairy

I want a name badge now that says "devil"

Should I be getting a complex though? First I'm titled "Wicked Witch of the North" and now this. It's a bit scary really. Do I give off bad vibes or something?
A

Only to octegenarians and small children.
A

Oh, and how could we forget to mention the odd Drum Majoring?

I spoke to Ed and he thinks it's a regimental thing.
greenfairy

Odd?!! ODD?!! He looked like he was trying to use it as a ski pole!!! Very weird. Entertaining though.

And don't forget . . . FOLLOW THE FINGER!

P.S. where's the pic of me not looking devilish?!
A

Coming soon.
greenfairy

I think I want a pair of white gloves so I can have a finger for people to follow (christy that sounds bad)
Co-admin

greenfairy wrote:

I'm saying nothing for fear of incriminating myself!
greenfairy

I would try to explain but I'm rubbish at things like that - A will do it for me!

*thinks*

No, she'll just try to make it worse
A

Co-admin

The classic hole digging scenario... well got out of GF. Tis nobler to quit than dig a deeper hole and look a twonk
greenfairy

Maybe I should've just carried on. I mean it's not as if I've got a reputation for sanity or anything
General Melchett

What is the correct term of address for you now Green fairy, is it:

O Evil one

or

Dark Mistress?

This is getting out of hand now!
greenfairy

I like Dark Mistress thanks

Now I'll have to go off and find some minions to do my evil bidding
A

Oh to be the bidder and not the bid....
greenfairy

You're my head henchperson though!
A

But I'm an Angel. No sniggering!
greenfairy

I'm branching out of total dark evilness.
A

Fine but I want my own office and business cards.
greenfairy

Sure thing.
A

Plus flexible hours, a health plan, some oiled muscular men to fan me with peacock feather fans and a swivel chair.
greenfairy

A wrote:

But of course.

A wrote:
a health plan

I'll think about it

A wrote:

Erm it's my workplace, they come as standard! :iwnk:

Any preference of colour?
A

Black. And leather. Like executives have!
greenfairy

Mine's purple. But you can have black, tis not a problem
A

Or red, to match my skin.
greenfairy

Tell me about it
A

And you know the strap mark? It's only one ONE SIDE.
greenfairy

Sorry.

That's pretty funny.

Says me with my white wrist
A

It is quite comical. SO it's long sleeves and high necklines for me til I peel.
greenfairy

You checked your Hotmail yet?
A

erm, no. Should I?
A

Oh dear Lord that's terrifying!
greenfairy

Yes.

Because my evil self sent you something that will torment and disturb you.
A

Wouldn't that HURT just a tiny bit?
greenfairy

It's just plain WRONG isn't it?!
A

It'd be worse if it was a bunny wabbit.
greenfairy

Very true.

I find the photos are a bit like a road accident - I can't stop staring!
