thankyou

Thankyou to all the wonderful volly dollies and bollies who made my birthday party the best ever!!!! If I knew 30 would be so much fun I'd have done it years ago....

Not sure I quite expected heart of oak complete with drum major, stick drills and countermarching in between YMCA and whatever other cheese the fabulous DJ provided but it was Alaaf!!!! thanks for the schnapps and the 'snaps' too... Oh and the wonderful array of useful, useless and drinkable presents are simply amazing!!!

Still miss everyone at Collingwood but I'll be back, you can take the horn out of Collingwood but....

thanks again guys, love ya!

Hey Z!

I just wanted to say the I vicariously enjoyed your birthday celebrations - it's strange you know, 30 is so young but you just don't know it until you're pushing 53...

And finally, I've never knowingly taken my horn out of anything.

Just so you know is all...

I had a horn cake too... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm chocolate horn!!!

Hiya Zed,
Glad you had as good a time at your birthday party as we all did! It was quiet without you on Monday (even though there were an awful ... yes, awful... lot of those other horn-type things blasting away in my ear).

"Tell us more"

well it went somethin along the lines of....
lots of people, lots of booze, big fat chocolate horn cake, few sarnies, onion bhajis - no from abduls I might add and so not that great.. cheese and pineapples on sticks... etc etc Lots of booze, did I already mention that. Lots of my mates and the cheeziest disco ever, complete with A team, YMCA and heart of oak???!!! followed by colonel bogey and reverse stick drill if i recall correctly. I did request eagle squadron but it was the one thing he forgot! darnit!! copious amounts of silly dancing was led by the best drum major in the world, the greatest piccolo player outside the RM and her drumstick other half and not forgetting dear pussycat ( AKA No2!!!)

all topped off with a rousing rendition of happy birthday dear old tart to me and thats ya lot!

best birthday ever!!
