Video files

I took loads of phots of the booties horse guards rehearsal this evening, and a 2 and ahalf minute video on my digicamera.

Trouble is, the video file is HUGE.

Does anyone know how I can shrink the filesize?

Thanks in advance!

You can split it into sections using HJ split and post it in 30 second snips. There is a video reducer but I can't remember what it is called

Okeydokey.

I tried uploading it onto youtube to see if they'd host it for me but it's too big for that as well.

Have you tried fiddling with the file in Windows Movie Maker to see if that can reduce the file size for you?

I'm told this should do it: http://nic.dnsalias.com/ReJig.zip
You need to reencode it at a lower bitrate...

Thanks for the advice. Now, as I'm completely confused, I shall ask my computer whizz brother to do it!
