They don't have one as such, they have a CPO 'Tank' Sherman who is Chaiman of the Committee. There have been a couple of CSgts nip out there to help prepare them for the festival.
bootybandy

ermm let me think about that for a while. NO! The last one I knew was Phil Lampton but that was a few years ago.
Co-admin

Ye gads, we've just taken the Gibraltar band's cherry posting!
A week in Gib, June time, nice weather, Hole in the Wall... not tempted
bootybandy

I'm in Portugal at the end of June and beginning of July this year, so perhaps a quick run down to Gib might be on the cards, just to ensure the place has not changed too much.
Nick B

Hello All You Rookies!!

FFoglamp

Hi, Nick. Mark here. I'm glad you have finally come in.

Whenever your name is mentioned I always remember the aforementioned day you brought the beer to the beach, before going to see the skipper, and you got thrown in the Oggin for your troubles, which was bit over the top, but thats easy for me to say now, sat at a computer 17 years later, and sober.

Anyway, trust you are well, and from our dance band gigging days, whatever happened to Val ?
Nick B

Hi Mark

Hope you are well. Pat & I still get a Christmas Card from Val. I don't know if She still works for the BBC.
What are you doing now?
FFoglamp

Nick, I'm an independent financial adviser. You can get more info from my links if really bored. In fact if you roam around this forum, you'll find all sorts of stuff about me (mostly from others, and as complimentary as you would expect). Glad to know you are all OK, and that Val still exists - somewhere. Clasic moment - "Tonight I'll Celebrate My Love For
You". Well, maybe not. Anyway, Nick, stay involved, this forum is great fun. Mark

FFoglamp

OMIGOD ! Aardvarks in Gib ! Do they get on together with Barbary Apes ?
Wolfy

I have a distinct suspicion that certain Aardvarks have been known to trap Barbary Apes having lashed em up to a "Tatties" Dog Burger and barfed it up again in the piaza after a good run ashore down main street!! .........Even to the extent that they "Promise to Love them still in the morning!

Yeah, but how many times have you eaten breakfast in the local Constabularys Office ???? Not the best B&B in Gib. The first time I was a visitor, my best mate, Goldy (RiP) caught a disease of the crustacean kind. Because he was more drunk than I, and grabbed the matress on the floor before I did.
