What's everyone up to?

Now that the razamataz of the festival is behind us, what's everyone upto in our brief respite from practicing????
ZedHorn

tut tut tut.... one must continue private practice over the leave period.... must not get your 'lip' nor your 'wrist' out of action.... Pints all round then!!! :-)
greenfairy

Still rehearsing with my brass band. Doing "Brass in the Park" near Edinburgh at the end of Aug. Will have to post on the RMB forum to see if any others are participating. I know there's a few closet brass bandies in there.
Wee Mac McDrums

Can I come and throw peanuts at you steve?
ladyleckie

Im doing that too Steve! Think its beginning of Sept!

Are you doing Land of Burns at Troon? End of August I think!
Chrissie B

Soppygit and I will be in that neck of the woods (just the other side of the Forth!) at the end of August/beginning of September... when and where are you playing?

Oooh yes please... we can even swop you some old for new! You're especially welcome to One Moment in Time (we've been threatening to "lose" it from the packs for about 20 years!)
bassdrumal

Awwww poor Gromit
But i bet you are sporting a fab new haircut !
Thats bound to cheer you up of course !
ZedHorn

i vote we have a massed volunteer band cull of Italian festival!
greenfairy

But I like Italian Festival - it brings a cheesy grin to my face when we play it

Me, I'd happily burn all Nelson copies of Marvin Arseface Showcase. Mainly as I feel anything that involves having to play The Entertainer should be destroyed. And then stamped in to a pulp before being buried in a bottomless pit and erased from the knowledge of humankind.

I don't like it much
ZedHorn

hmmmm.... no guessing that!!!
greenfairy

It's my subtleness isn't it, people always comment on it

The Donkey

Seoul Olympics 1988. One Moment in Time was the official song of the US team.

How come I'm the same age as you, but I got it?

Makes me feel old.

ZedHorn

The Donkey

ZedHorn
