According to the Cologne Karneval forum the Rosenmontag parade starts earlier this year - at 10:30am. Therefore half an hour less in bed!

Does that mean it lasts half an hour longer or we finish half hour earlier - henceforth does that subsequently imply we have to dance more / drink more / walk further / faster or have more time to get ready for the fancy dress party!!!! which is to assume that we can drink more, eat less, p*ss off the people in the tiny mcdonalds less when we all rock up for 52 supersized happy meals in 10 minutes flat - with 30 mcslashes and lies chucked in for good measure???

Surely this just means half an hour's less waiting. Or do we just start waiting half an hour earlier. And if we finish half an hour earlier, that will give us an extra half an hour that we don't need, so yet more waiting.
Oh, I can't wait!
