We hope you all like the new look of the forum.
To the left you will see the menu box containing:
Home
FAQ
Memberlist
Usergroups
Profile
Messages
Login/Out
Below that is a Quick search
Below that, Links to our main site and Richard Valentine's site
The who's on line box is below that and a google search below that.
Everything is there and more accessible all of the time rather than having to keep moving from window to window.

Now that the new look forum with easier navigation is in place I did a little bit of tidying up and merged a few topics and deleted one with no interest earlier today.
The volunteer band section has been enhanced and extended after a phone call from one of the VBIs and a long chat with him about their requirements.
If anyone has any ideas for tidying up the main area, merging topics or sub dividing topics then please voice your ideas here.
Many thanks for all of your posts and the interest shown so far. In the short time this forum has been live it has quickly bloomed into a young and thriving community and this is all due to your interest and input... Many thanks

Another new feature was added at server level today and the integration has gone very smoothly, it is the 'Quick reply' box at the bottom of the topics. You can still click on the reply if you want all of the smilies and codes (Img, b, i etc) but if you just want to post a very quick text response and nothing else just type it into the Quick Reply box and hit submit. If at any time you want to switch modes click the preview button and then you'll be able to see how it looks and get all of the advanced features and smilies _________________ The Royal Marines Band Service on line |

Added another slight tweak just now (with guidance from the host!).
If you lok at the member list you will see there is a 'Date Last Visited' field. If it says "Never" it means that they have registered and never come back! _________________ The Royal Marines Band Service on line |

Deli, at your age you should not need guidance from a host to give yourself a little tweak now and again - and really, advertising it on the interweb thingy is unforgivable! _________________ “All men are equal. All men, that is, who possess umbrellas.”

I remember them on the Ark Royal too. The Naafi guys used to smuggle them in by the box load. Bit too cheesy if you ate too many.
So there you have it, the answer to Hornblower's "what is too much".
Quavers !
I undersand that you can get more than one flavour these days ???

| Gosh that was jolly daring of you. Did you actually eat them or play strange games with them when they had gone hard? |
