I couldn't go tonight,,,, a combination of getting back from our daytrip late, being completely tired out by running around seaworld for 8 hours, and my taxi driver (dad) being too pooped to drive. Lesson learnt, next Thursday will be a lazy day by the pool before rehearsal!!!!!!

So sorry Shell, I'm gutted. However, very much looking forward to next week!

Your Miss "A" made it to rehearsal tonight and sat in with our 2nd Clarinets. She and her Dad took some pictures but will not be able to post them until they return to the UK on Sunday. She had a great time and wishes that she could play the concert on July 4th.

Thanks for a great rehearsal, Shell! It was a lot of fun. Pass my thanks on to John for being such a friendly stand buddy, and to Barb for lending me her beautiful clarinet! I was very impressed, and I'm sure your concert is going to rock.

If you're coming over to Portsmouth anytime soon, drop by and we'll lend you a trombone!!!!

Perhaps even an Hautbois or Cor Anglais for Barb?

It would have been nice had she been able to extend her vacation to make the concert on the 4th which went extremely well.
