This is an extremely dangerous activity. The TV doesn't receive adequate cooling with a blanket on top of it and could overheat and catch fire!
Besides, wouldn't you see the picture better if the blanket wasn't there? You still have to pay for a TV licence, even if you just use it as a sort of radio. Perhaps, if you have a cold, you should wrap the blanket around yourself instead?

Fant-tastic ! !     And the chocolate..... ?

What's the difference between an odd wobbly coffee and a normal wobby coffee? And can I have one without the coffee part please?

I'm off sick at the mo and need to get fit for Koln - I'm watching loads of day time TV under a big fur blanket and eating lots of chocolate - is there anything else I should be doing?

1. There are no TVs in Koln, so turn it off.
2. Move the sofa up to the wall so you have no leg room.
3. Have a crate of cheap lager at hand at all times.
4. Don't drink it yet, wait a bit.
5. Go round a mate's house and get their dad to make your tea. Ensure he uses plenty of salt, and eat it off disposable plates.
6. Go home and sit on your sofa again.
7. Every 30 mins or so, go and stand outside. Don't do anything, just stand there. (It's better if there's a pub nearby. If there is, go and stand in the carpark.)
8. NEVER go to the loo before midnight.
9. Think of a tune, any tune, and start singing. Just make up lyrics as you go.
10. At 3am, go and sit on the floor in the hall. Open your crate of lager, and talk b0ll0cks.

I am sure I have seen lots of TVs when we march through the gay quarter in Köln! Unless they are just really ugly birds.

Axl - further to the list do I:

1 - use the sink as night heads
2-  turn the heating off or up to max chat
3- put a list of all my pals on the bathroom door, then wait in the hall for 35 minutes with a towel & dhoby bag before entering the shower
4 - have a pot noodle and double decker  at 3am
5- have a luke warm black coffee with no sugar ar 3.15am
6- get up at 6am and make a load of rolls with cheese. ham & marmalade

Bye the way has any one else noticed that all this is in the wrong thread

Actually Cologne is a small town just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Does the coach driver know? Is there a ferry to the States from Dover?

Which Dover do you mean? The one in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Kansas, Nebraska, Maine,  Arkansas, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Michigan,  Delaware, Pennsyvania, Ohio, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, or New England?
Or do you mean Nova Scotia or Alberta, Canada?
Or maybe even Barbados?
Or how about North Slesvig in Denmark?
And to really take the pee-pee, Tasmania?
