yep - this year Heron will be winning best marching band, concert band and best fancy dress... Overall champions will go to the pipers and the corps of drums trophy has been scrapped in favour of a horn section medallion!

Z , I love you. x

Also - in order to get the mark sheets out on time in 2008 these will be prepared well in advance. This will also mean that there will be no waiting around for trophies to be awarded after the long afternoon as these can be collected from the bar a lunch time, (or the night before should anyone be foolish enogh to be drinking before playing).
I look forward to being there - in the audience.

Ok Rich,

Date for RNVB Festival is Sat 28th June.
Hope you can make it 7 in a row!
More good news - Reggie popped in this morning and is most likely back as Drum Major for HMS Nelson again in 2008 ....... ..................so you'll have Melvin to play with - Don't break him!

Apricot my old fruit. Nowt wrong with your marching and if Melvin brings me 2 tins of Strongbow on Thursday evening then all will be forgotten. Just as long as he tries to shut up and winds his neck in quicker than ET in reverse.
