Ha ha!
Just so that this thread gets a bit of use I've decided to let you know that I don't just go round on a motorbike careering into unsuspecting Botty Bundies...
Wee Jock McCartney asked me to take something from Northolt to Northwood on the only mode of transport I had - my trusty Honda CX500.
No probs - so off I went and as it was a nice day, I decided to not bother with anything other than MY (as opposed to Aa Aa's) wooly pully and lovat troos. (Oh - and crash helmet of course)
Uneventful trip across and then approached the gate on my left.
Decided to show the bootneck on the gate how to lean a bike and get me knee down.
Well, I managed it quite easily...
...first my knee, then my shoulder then my head and I'm a big snotty mess sprawled all over the main gate area.
Bah!
I retained my dignity though, I didn't cry or anything!!! _________________ ITMA! |

Anyhoo, by the time your leave pass from the Retirement Home was authorised, the notion would have worn off... _________________ Roads to a friend's house are never long... |

HUH!! There's still life in the old vark yet i'll have you know. Just because i live in a retirement home doesnt mean im an old crock. Im here because its free and they prefer us to stay together after our horrendous duty looking after you lot. Its stressful and PTSD is rife. Only this morning the goat tried jumping off the east wing turrett. I had to implement my polished training and talk her down. It turns out she had had a postcard from Botty claiming that he knew where she lived. Poor goat was terrified. I can come and go as i please and matron is a personal friend of mine. I have got to know her very well. Every morning as I queue up for my medication she gives me an extra special little smile. |
