I got a text from Shuggie at 1230 on Saturday the 30th September
Congratulations Shuggie and a day early as well. Every good MArine is 5 minutes early but a whole day is taking the mick  An outstanding effort... well done mate!

I've just seen Shuggie... he's lost about a stone and a half (like he needed to!) and was met at the end by Milky Way and a few others who'd made the trip down to watch him cross the line. He did say that if he left anything at the start line it can stay there Wahhhhhhh.
As he didn't shave on the way down it only took him 45 minutes for a shave this morning.
Once again, congratulations to Shuggie.
