As you might have guessed by now Stu. It's Twink Starr, or Brian or Taff. Whatever takes your fancy really. Joined in 1971 (1/71) and left November 1995. I can't believe it's ten years since leaving! Been living in Alverstoke, Hampshire all the time since leaving and joined the Probation Service in Hampshire straight away. (I was actually working for them just before I left the RMB). I spend most of my leave in either France or Spain, and of the last three RMB reunions have been away in Spain for a late summer break, well the weathers much nicer in Spain at that time of the year, rather than a bleak Autumn on the south coast. We have a 13 year old son who seems to take up all of our spare time, either Sailing, Judo, Football or Ice Skating. Don't have too much spare time at present, gave up golf nearly five years ago to concentrate on Judo. Became a qualified BJA Club Coach and run my own local Judo club. I think the old greay cells are starting to disintergrate at the moment as I seem to get more pleasure from reading other peoples posts rather than post some of my own. Anyway, just popping down to the sailing club for a Friday night Aperitif before the local Taj Mahal calls. Speak to you all soon.....Bri.

Hi Stick. Good God No!!! I have always been in the Band side of things. All Royal Marines have the nickname Booty, which is short for Bootneck. It was just something that some matelots called Royal Marine Musicians quite often really, Booty-Bandy (Or as Stu and Ffoglamp often call me, Botty Bundy) They afton git thair vowals maxed op). I won't ask how you got your nick name though.

On second thoughts I will.. How did that name come about then Stick?
