Hi there Dr Zed,
Unfortunately, Band Camp is in Dorset this year (too close in time to the Festival for any of us to attend) and therefore us Northeners cannot comment. It's a pity because we have hosted a few of the Sarfies before and a good time has been had by all.
PS
Tigers for the Treble looking good

So, there we were, practicin' our soloists piece, when the second percussionist let rip with a big cymbal cressendo,

Martin: Mac, that was a great sound, but I think I'm going to bring you off at the end of that.

Mac : Sounds like an ofer I can't refuse Bandy, Which hand are you going to bring me off with? (looking innocent!!!)

Martin: I think I'll bring you off with my right hand as I have to bring off the soloist with my left?

Soloist : That's OK, bring Mac off with which ever hand you want, I bring myself off!!!!

At Dulles airport in Washington at the end of the Portsmouth, Va gig.....

Sitting in a bar which sells food, mac orders a steak sandwich...

Anne sees Macs sandwich and proclaims at the top of her voice...

Feck, look at the size of Macs - I don't think I could get all of that in my mouth in the one go!!!!

Then there was the time when Mac and Anne were walking along Helensburgh high street towards the pier -

Mac came out with a smutty comment and Anne replied:

"Mac McSherry, I'm going to take you to the end of that pier, and when we get to the end I'm going to toss you off!"

If it's any help I don't have a clue as to the purpose of the verbosity and existentialism of it all

Hi GF.
That's a big help if you have a BA in English; however my degree is in Applied Ignorance!!

PS
The only animosity I've seen lately was directed at you unfortunately.

I've only got half a BA in English though!

And if you have to work at being ignorant then you really can't be

I like people not liking me. It lets me know I do actually exist and am not a figment of someone's warped imagination. Or am I?
