So just how did you manage to conjure up an all round magic little band especially for the marching display, Neil? Let's hope we're all still together next year without too many drafts and other commitments. Well done Bandy.

Cheers GF. I'm extremely proud of the drum section. They do work hard and it is sometimes a total time consuming and very expensive pain in the rear travelling to and from from the Isle Of Wight and getting time off to practice and do the gigs. However. It's all worth it in the end cos' we now have a bandmaster who get's us marching gigs and mess beatings etc despite what others might think. It seems a great shame that the rumours about the drum section breaking up or only turning up once a year for the festival are totally unfounded lies which have emerged from certain quarters elsewhere. But as they say, when the wine goes off you're left with sour grapes. Well done HMS Nelson Corps Of Drums and thankyou for ALL the hard work you put in.

well done to everyone for taking part this year, the standard has gone up again all round. Congratuations to Seahawk and Collingwood and of course Nelson not a foot wrong in the marching, even me! A particular cheer to Nelson corp of drums and Astradyne - you rock, we're so proud of you.
