Indeed, I totally agree with you, think about it Zed, all those dust catchers and that glass rose bowl, its a disaster waiting to happen should it be knocked off the shelf or whatever!!! The hassle of having to return them next year............
We have nowhere to put them anyway at Drake, we can hardly fit the band in let alone all those trophies!!
We're the best Royal Naval Band in DEVON!! (There are those others - white helmets??? I don't know who they are, always getting themselves in the Blue Band and things????) Mind you one question - why are Plymouth RM Band called that when they are based in Torpoint??? Nah we're still the best in Devon! |

Hmmm..... Lympstone and Dartmouth bands might have some argument with you there, Emma. But you are definitely the best RN band in West Devon!
Plus.... They don't have a good-looking, ex-Seahawk cornet player in their bands! (Rich Fenwick may dispute that, but he is nowhere near as pretty!!!)
Well done with your solo - brill! |

Oh Bob what a charmer!!! I have a fab photo of you in your wig, taken by Trev who was randomly paparazzying (new word there I think!!)
Sorry, Lympstone and Dartmouth, am I meant to know them????
Oh the lovely Rich - he who chose the solo for me in the 1st place, nah... nowhere as pretty but a better cornet player!!!!
Thaks Bob very much appreciated - glad you liked it!!! |
