It was nailed, with no offence caused .. ... only comment I've heard is that the band were a bit loud .. WTF?

Looking at the video I think the band really pulled together and did a grand job and although I couldn't hear much from out front it balanced out well.

Even though I was in two minds over this particular arrangement at first I can now hear the effect the arranger wanted. It's different to what I'm used to (the big band version has shock 'Ooh-Aah' notes rather than the <ooOOWAARrrr> backing), but it worked, so a big well done to the band for the support.

I'm on the mend and will be back on Monday to rattle through the 5tet stuff.
