I'm sick to death with all the Cologne dits and still 6 months to go to the next one.
Anyone out there remember the Antwerp gigs in the late 70's? Collingwood and Daedalus bands did them every year with their VBIs organising everything. (Bd C/Sgt's Sid Richardson BEM and Maurice Keats)
Those Antwerp gigs beat Cologne hands down!!!!

I'm far to young and innocent to remember that far back, but I do remember Detmold in the mid nineties. I mainly remember Cheesey vomiting from the top of a fairground ride, but his mum will be able to tell you more! (Go on Chrissy, spin it!)

Now was that before or after he swamped in front of Prince Charles at Leicester Square?

Ah, that's my boy! It was one of those rides that went back and forth and back and forth, and Cheesy had drunk a couple of small Guinness and Blackcurrants as I remember (although I may be wrong!). As the ride went back he felt a bit ikkie, then chucked up just in time for it to slap him in the face on the way forward. Various other members of the band, including Pat (Ryan) were standing underneath, without umbrellas.

Cheesy was wearing his new silk shirt for the occasion, and when he eventually reached the ground he took it off and threw it in the bin.

I guess I'd better not let him have the url for the new forum now I've spilled the beans!
