How much do I need to save up in case I get picked to go?

You'll have to be on dry doggy biscuits and cut out that expensive tinned food so that you can save enough for USA.

The earlier flights are booked the cheaper they will be - for all. Deposits of £100 will be required so that these can be booked and this will be in January. You don't have to buy me an expensive pressie this year - does that help?

This all seems to have gone quiet. Is the septic trip still on? Is there a list out? Is it all a big secret and only the special few have been told? Is PC on his RDP and not giving a FF any more?

Easy answer - there's a few snags to be overcome and it's also handover week between bandies so everything's a bit chaotic! Wouldn't be Nelson if it wasn't

It's only velcroed in so is easily removable if necessary. Plus it needs a bit of punishment after a very dry Christmas

Is that your considered professional opinion, the new NHS policy on internal organs, or Koln experience talking?

Did you know;

Yesterday (Jan 22nd) was St. Vincent's day, and we should all honour him. He is the patron saint of drunkards, and is also revered by sailors, but for different reasons.
He's also the patron saint of brickmakers, but I'm not sure how we can adapt that one to fit in with the vollies.

Alternatively, if you want to by-pass the saints and go straight for a god, it has to be Dionysus or Bacchus, the Greek and Roman gods of wine  , Maenads    (do a wikipedia search) and song    .

Axl , you're great - you know stuff:  I'm off sick at the mo and need to get fit for Koln - I'm watching loads of day time TV under a big fur blanket and eating lots of chocolate - is there anything else I should be doing?

This is an extremely dangerous activity. The TV doesn't receive adequate cooling with a blanket on top of it and could overheat and catch fire!
Besides, wouldn't you see the picture better if the blanket wasn't there? You still have to pay for a TV licence, even if you just use it as a sort of radio. Perhaps, if you have a cold, you should wrap the blanket around yourself instead?
