I'll double away now and get a load of chicken & mushroom.

By the way - Most of Heron are travelling out as Pirates - (why because we 'arrrre') - because we can, and it's funny and it's the 20th one, and nothing is wrong in carnival land.  So please feel free to join in if you wish.

Are you into pea & ham soup and horse stew then?
A couple of years ago the Domstädters had a horse-drawn wagon in the Tuesday carnival and one of the Klippen-Kloppens looked a bit mangy. I said then "It won't be long before that one is in the stew pot", sure enough, last year they didn't have any horses!
In respect of Debbies absence this year, we shall have to have her usual triple- decker banana split with extra cream and chocolate sauce in her honour. Diet banana, of course!

I was in the pikey/polish shop - not the shoe cleaning type polish but the country type polish - called ALDI - I know the shop is not Polish but it's full of poles - no - before you all start not the dancing type, the being from poland type......anyway i digress

HANDWARMERS - pack of 2 magic handwarmers - £1.29. They look a bit like those chicken breasts that women stick in their bra's to do the pushy up thing.
These have a magic button that makes them all warm for about an hour, stick them in boiling water for 10 minutes and they are good to go again - but at 1.29 I thought they were a bargain.

One major advantage over the burning stick type is that there is no burning stick to fall out of the burner and ruin your Nos ones (grommit!) although they may still melt the chocolate razzed from the carnival on monday in your nos one jacket (can't remember who that was, erm erm was it also gromit!!).

LADIES! - with reference to Dolly's post about Magic Handwarmers, why not save yourself £1.29 to spend on essential chocolate and kill two birds with one stone? I will happily volunteer (free of charge) to stick my hands up your vest, thereby providing any uplift you may need, it will keep my hands warm and also stop your lady-lumps getting chilly! ADDED BONUS - I won't be able to play in this position thereby saving the band, and the populace of Cologne in general, the earache they would normally get.
Applications in writing please, first come - first served. Hurry, this offer may not last!
