In reference to my previous post about not reading the forum and eating lunch.. I must now also remember not to read the forum whilst at work - or at least not on the ward... any hope that my patients and the nursing staff here ever had that i was a sound professional have just been totally shattered by my fits of hysterical giggles and the need for tissues I was crying so hard with laughter!!
Thankyou boys - you've cheered up my miserable oncall weekend a treat...

and on a serious note, but I'll be brief..

don't take tea and coffee rations as Dave and I went shopping yesterday and spent 100 quid on supplies! actually most of that went on beer for the Heron band fridge for sunday but we've got tea, coffee, hot choccie, milk and 108 bags of crisps to keep us all nutritionally supported!!

Page is in charge of the urn!

no, sorry, I already asked Dolly to go back to the pole shop and get me a pair of the cheap polish ones ( me working all weekend stuck in miserable hospital can't shop!!) I did however ask him to get a long silver pole for dancing round if he found one that fits on the bus - we could stick it up in the middle of the dance floor at the nightclub gig.... or just give it to Ron as we halt in the gay quarter!!! 'bout time we came up with some new dance routines don't you reckon???

Bob... with reference to your havd warming service...

1. Do I get my usual Seahawk discount?

2. Is there a current BOGOF offer?

3. Or do you do 2 for 1?

4. If I bring some friends, do we qualify for grope discount?

5. Is it true you feel a right tit whilst doing this?

Thanks in advance...

I have it on good authority.....well from Debbie in any case, that at the exact time of the ice cream festivities, she will be sat in the local, eating a banana spilt already pre-ordered so she can indeed be with us in spirit.

And Bob, great idea, should you get bogged down with the responses for free uplifts, then i will be there to lend a hand....or two !

Bob a good plan but you may need both hands for one breast with me!

Also might hinder my clarinet playing.

There seems to be a grave misunderstanding here!  Surely it would take two volunteers to one set of  warming exercises. One hand per person should be in charge of (a) Flask, hip, whiskey. (b) glass of Kolsch,(c) other form of alcoholic beverage?  Are we there yet??  Dave XX

On the subject of 'handwarming', and with a personal perspective...

if you can find 'em... you can 'ave 'em!
