It's all a lot quiet on the Sultan front.

Is there still a Sultan band? Where and when do you practise? And can I join you for the odd blow in November and December while I'm on Wrecker's course?

Sultan band practise in a fort on the tech side of Sultan. Yes they still exist but they are thin on the ground... you might be better coming to Nelson where you can buy me beer after the rehearsal! (Your wallet will need it's own pass as in Nelson it will be considered a sentient life as it is so large)

Hi

We really are thin on the ground at the moment, hence not marching in the festival last year, and the smallest Sultan concert band I've seen in my 13 years of festivals. We practise on Wednesdays and are always pleased to see new faces, even if temporarily.

There never seemed to be many Sultanites on the forum, but I pop in now and again to check I'm not missing too much.

We are a little short on numbers however we did manage to put on a reasonable marching display and concert performance at  last saturdays festival. Congrats to the winners.  We will be back bigger and better next year (hopefully)  Cheers for now take care all
