Hi all, now we're back at band after summer leave I'm going to start sorting this properly.
I'm going to look at venue and then accomodation. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get everyone onto Heron but I'll try. Once I've got prices I'll need to know numbers so please can you ask about in your bands and see who's interested.
The date is Nov 28th. Fingers crossed there are no gigs put in.

Oh bum. That's the same weekend as the Horndean Band Christmas Social. Maybe you could all come to that instead?

Has anything actually been arranged yet that we need to definitely say yes or no to?
Cheers |

Princess Fiona is in charge... there was question about it moving to the weekend before ie the w/e of the 21st to co-ordinate with a big gig Heron has, but I've not heard any more..
contact the Princess via here or facebook I guess, I'll be up a mountain a few thousand miles away I'm afraid! _________________ water... it's just a whixer for misky! |

Hello all. I'm now waving the white flag of surrender!!!!
Did look at moving to weekend before with a view to also doing a gig with us ( half time at a Yeovil v Charlton athletic game ) however now cancelled.
Secondly I can not get accomodation for anyone on the base so it means hotels and as there's only 3 or 4 people interested here it doesn't make a lot of sense to have locally.
So it seems the majority of people that would like to get together are from Portsmouth area. Would it then be better to look at doing something there instead or would people rather abandon the idea?? |
