Now this is a very tall order.

Inzievar House and its legendary status and dits etc........

I was "there" 1997-1981, but with SOOOOOOOOO many zillions of goings ons, personnel and dits, it would need its own website.

Sorry, guys, its 2310 on a sunday night, I would need a few hours at this one, so when I psyche myself up for this, I could tell some dits from then, and add my Chicago triv, as well. One day, perhaps.

Actually Brian could type in a few stories quicker than I, but maybe he shouldn't ought to, thereby leaving any potential lawsuits coming my way.

Anyway, I lived at "The Bungalow" with a few others, mainly John Aylmore, and our nearest village and local was The Torrie in Torryburn.

High Valleyfield was down a lane and a right turn not left, that we never dared to discover for a couple of years.

Eventually I discovered this lovely gated village, when having to drop off a female I bumped into. It was during daylight that I noticed she looked like Biffa Bacon's mum !!!

I met Tom Scade's folks at a Dunfermline concert, then eventually we traded stuff, us getting the coal for our range. (Didn't know Tom at this stage).

[Disclaimer: No females from High Valleyfield during this era were hurt in the making of this post].

WARNING: However, any ex bandies in FOSNI 1977-1981 with a nervous disposition, should not dare to even put Valleyfield and female together in the same sentence AAAAAAAaaarrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhh!!!!

Geographical note: The Bungalow was on the same estate as Inzievar House, had equally brilliant legendary all weekend parties, but was 2 miles nearer to Valleyfield, and therefore slightly less comfortable !!!!!

Looking , it has to be said , uncharacteristically smart . A small ensemble from The Band of The Royal Air Force College doing a reception at Norfolk Naval Base in the good 'ol US of A . 1990.
We had all just been told we were off to the Gulf in a month or two !

Seeing this made me remember a visit to Norfolk by a RM Band. Off the top of my head I cannot recall which unit it was from but they did two public concerts at Military Circle Shopping Center as well as Lynnhaven Mall. I video taped both performances and have them now on DVD. If any of you recall being in the group, please let me know and I will make copies for you.

Hi Ff, well at last i've caught up with one of the buggers who used to take the last lump of coal from my dear old folks and leave them feezing through the winter. I must say my parents were more than happy to help out any bandy in need. Infact they gave many of my chums the largest hangover ever suffered after a visit at hogmanay. Alas my mum passed away '03 but my dad's still in the same house. Valleyfield was a great place to come from but not so good to go back to. B good.

As for the Milton Glee piccy.....it was a bit of an embarrasment that my family turned up without tickets !! The Guildhall manager was kind enough to let them watch the concert slouched at the back of the stage !!
